I don't think it's a secret language per se. It's just that the tokens generated for these sentences are for some reason coming close to a bird latent space. Maybe if we can dig deep and do a google search for kinds of birds we can find the connection. Tokens from OpenAI below. t.co/Of8CBGdGAE. Apoploe vesrreaitais was already explained. Turns out - lot of birds fell into Apodidae and Ploceidae categories of birds - twitter.com/BarneyFlames/status/1531736… IMO these words were part of some training images (e.g. taken from nature atlases) and DALL-E learned to associate them with birds, although in gibberish form.

According to [1], the byte pair encoding for “Apoploe vesrreaitais” (the words producing bird images) is "apo, plo, e, ,ve, sr, re, ait, ais", and Apo-didae & Plo-ceidae are families of birds. [1] twitter.com/barneyflames/status/1531736…?...

Not really, he afterwards says that he was more trying to inject some humility. He really doesn't think this is measuring anything of interest. For the birds result in particular, see twitter.com/BarneyFlames/status/1531736….
